Celebrating Our Sesquicentennial

Truman State University’s 150th Anniversary

When Joseph Baldwin opened the North Missouri Normal School and Commercial College on Sept. 2, 1867, he set the stage for producing generations of thoughtful professionals, engaged citizens, and knowledgeable leaders. Over the last 150 years, the school has experienced many changes, but Baldwin’s legacy of making an impact on the lives of others continues today. During the 2017-2018 academic year, join us in celebrating Truman State University’s accomplishments as we continue to produce life-long learners well-equipped to change the world for the better.
